Position: Internship (Ref No: NDOH 9/2024) – 5 Positions Available
Department: Chief Directorate: Trauma, Violence, and EMS
Stipend: R7,043.31 per month
Location: Pretoria
Duration: 24 months

Requirements:

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Microbiology, Biomedical Science, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing abilities.

Duties:

  • Facilitate the import and export of biological materials.
  • Conduct inspections of laboratories, including tissue banks.
  • Research and acquire information on international standards for establishing pathological laboratories and tissue banks.
  • Verify registration of Principal Investigators/Medical Specialists with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
