Remuneration: As per National Treasury Regulations 3.1.6, read with 20.2.3. Members will be appointed as independent contractors for a three-year term and remunerated for preparation and attendance of meetings.

Requirements:

• Graduate qualification in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Information Communication Technology, or Law.
• Preferably a CA (SA), CIA, CISA, or CFE qualification.
• Experience in Internal Audit, Governance, Risk Management, Public Sector operations, Information Communication Technology, Strategy Development, Implementation, Monitoring, Legal, and External Auditing.
• Proven record of service or membership in Committees such as Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, IT Steering Committee, Ethics Committee, or any Governance Body.
• Attributes and skills: Independence, integrity, objectivity, reliability, strong leadership, excellent communication, and knowledge of governance and risk management principles.
• Must be independent from all operations of the Civilian Secretariat for Police Service.

Duties:

• Regulate and discharge responsibilities in accordance with the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and the approved Audit Committee Charter.
